New Capabilities and Services for Educators on Windows to the Universe Coming 1 September 2010!
New capabilities and services in development now for Windows to the Universe Educators to be released over the coming months include:- Your own "MyW2U" area, to keep track of website resources most valuable to you
- Access to a regularly updated calendar of Earth and Space Science Education Opportunities and Events
- Access to a regularly updated calendar of major Earth and Space Science historical events
- Ability to print out pdfs of classroom activities and worksheets at no additional cost
- Access to participate in community discussion threads with other members
- Access to participate in Windows to the Universe web seminars at no additional cost
- An advertising free version of the website
We will begin rolling out these capabilities and services on 1 September 2010. If you are a member of the National Earth Science Teachers Association (NESTA), you can join now for a 50% discount for only $10/year. If you aren't a member of NESTA, join NESTA today, and then you can join as a Windows to the Universe Educator.
