Jupiter's moons Ganymede and Callisto are examples of contiguous moons which did and did not differentiate early in their histories. Ganymede seems to have a well defined core with an icy mantle and crustal layer on top. Callisto, the neighboring moon, seems to be completely homogeneous inside. Again, the lack of differentiation may say something about how warm these moons were upon formation.
