Fronts
Fronts are some of the basic building blocks of weather. Fronts happen when two large air masses crash into each other.
On Earth, fronts are usually associated with rain, snow, or hail. Severe weather, such as thunderstorms, and tornados can occur with fronts on Earth.
No one knows yet if fronts cause severe weather on Mars.
