Massive Sunspot!

Right now, the largest
sunspot of the decade is on
the Sun. In this picture, it is the black smudge on the upper, right part of the Sun. Though it doesn't look like much, this area is more than the surface area of 13 Earths!
Already, flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs) have shot from this sunspot. These flares and CMEs released March 28th-29th are headed towards Earth. So, this weekend, there may be aurora and possibly even radio or power blackouts!
