Settling in for a Four Month Stay
News story originally written on August 20, 2001
The shuttle Discovery just visited the the International Space Station (ISS). Now it is on its way home to
Earth. Discovery brought 3 new astronauts who will live on the ISS for the next four months. It is also giving the 3 astronauts who were living on the ISS
since March a ride home.
The new crew on the ISS will do a lot of science experiments in the next months. Would you like to live on the space station for months? It'd have a great view, but there wouldn't be any pizza deliveries!
The shuttle Discovery is scheduled to land back on Earth on August 22, 2001.
