NASA
Of the People and For the People!
News story originally written on January 17, 2002
The crew onboard the International Space Station (ISS) is reaching out to people around the world! The crew just finished putting an antenna outside the ISS. They are going to put three other antennas outside the ISS on January 25, 2002, during a space walk. These antennas will allow the radio equipment inside the ISS to be moved to the living quarters of the ISS. It will be more convenient for the astronauts to use the radio, which will mean they can talk to their families more often. It will also mean they can talk to schoolchildren around the world more easily!
Did you know that you can ask the crew onboard the ISS a question? There is page set up just for that!
