Shuttle-Mir Mission Update
News story originally written on January 27, 1998
The shuttle Endeavour was launched last week. It travelled to the space station Mir. The shuttle is now docked with the space station
Mir. This means that there is a tunnel connecting the shuttle and the space station. Have you ever created a tunnel between two forts you made? Next time, you can pretend your two forts are the space shuttle and the space station!
Astronaut Andy Thomas went through the tunnel and is now aboard Mir. He traded places with David Wolf who came aboard Mir in September.
