An Overview of the Parts of Jupiter's Magnetosphere

Jupiter's magnetosphere is very pointed and bullet-shaped, as shown in this picture, because of the nature of how it is created.

The magnetosphere has many parts, such as the bow shock, magnetospheath, magnetotail, plasmasheet, lobes, plasmasphere, and many electric currents. It is composed of charged particles and magnetic field.

Jupiter's magnetosphere is the largest object in the solar system. The magnetosphere, however, changes size and shape like a water balloon, depending upon the strength of the solar wind.
