UNAM trailer
The University of Mexico (UNAM) trailer is showing its flag. The trailer is in Tecamac, or T1, the first place of influence from Mexico City pollution. Three students and two researchers, Telma Castro and Agustin Muhlia, work in this trailer. They are measuring the optical properties of particles, that is if the particles absorb or reflect light. They collect particles too, with equipments called impactors.
Also, they have instruments to measure the radiative properties of atmosphere. These equipments, or photometers, follow the Sun and measure the amount of light in the atmosphere.
With all these instruments, the researchers and their students study the physical properties of particles and their interaction with the light in the atmosphere. Particulates
