Gherman Titov
Gherman Titov is a cosmonaut who was born on September 11, 1935, in
Alti Territory, Russia.
Titov became a cosmonaut in 1960. In 1961, Titov flew aboard Vostok 2. He
became the second person to make an orbital space flight when he orbited the
Earth for 24 hours. He was 26 at the time, making him the youngest person to
go into space.
