This image shows auroral lights glowing above the North Pole of Saturn. This pair of images was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995. The lower right view shows Saturn in visible light as we would see it; the upper left image was captured in ultraviolet wavelengths. The aurora appears as a glow above Saturn's North Pole at the top of the UV image.
