ExploraTour - Looking at the World in a Different Light
If you could see beyond red light, how would the world look? Light beyond red is called infrared. Infrared light is given off by warm objects ... like you. This type of light is invisible. Pretend your eyes can now see infrared light and look at the sleeping man in the picture. With your infrared vision, you know that the hottest parts of the man's body are his hands and feet. You don't even need to ask him.
How do you know this? In the picture, his hands and feet are the brightest color (white).
