There are two special eclipses coming up. There will be a
solar eclipse on Christmas Day.
This partial solar eclipse will be visible from the USA, Canada, Central America, and the Carribbean.
This link will tell you when you can see the eclipse in your area on Christmas Day.
Remember -- never look directly at the Sun! There are safe ways to view the eclipse.
The other eclipse is the first eclipse of the new millennium. It will be on January 9, 2001. You can see this lunar eclipse if you live in Europe, Africa and Asia.
