Galileo Finds Veritable Chemical Factory On Europa

Scientists have found another chemical on Jupiter's moon
Europa. The chemical is hydrogen
peroxide. You might have used hydrogen peroxide in toothpaste to whiten
your teeth. Or you might have used it to clean germs out of a cut.
There are other chemicals on Europa. The Galileo spacecraft has found
water, carbon dioxide, and maybe even salt.
