David Wolf has returned home to Earth (aboard the shuttle Endeavour). His 128-day stay aboard Mir has left him a bit paler, a bit thinner and a bit more wobbly!
While in space, Wolf lost 20 pounds. His mother, Dottie Wolf, proudly explained the reason for the weight loss, "Four months of eating rehydrated food, and he worked very hard up there, harder than any of the other American astronauts."
David Wolf's transition has been a hard one. The last few days he's been experiencing vertigo and dizziness. But this hasn't stopped him from enjoying home. In fact, he's had more than one slice of pepperoni and mushroom pizza!
When asked if Wolf would return to live on Mir, he answered, "definitely." Then he added, "not next month!"
