Terry Hart
Terry Hart is an American astronaut who was born on October 27, 1946, in Pennsylvania. Before he became an astronaut, Hart worked as an electrical engineer for Bell Communications.
Hart became an astronaut in 1978. He has spent over 168 hours in space on one spaceflight. In 1984, Hart flew aboard Mission 41-C. He used the remote manipulator arm of shuttle Challenger to make the first satellite repair in history.
Hart returned to Bell Labs in 1984.
