Today's Highlighted Poem
by Harry, age 51, U.K.
Behind a cold, grey bank of winter cloud,
Hides a promise, waiting patiently to be found
By those whose hearts know how to praise.
Upon the slow-moving waters, A sprinkle of sparkles brightens the dreary landscape with their hint to better days.
Ah, how slowly we leave the dark Kingdom of Winter behind.
Oh Son of the Morning Star, Smother us in your warm embrace that we may endorse your beauty
And languish in your life-giving rays,
In your glorious Kingdom of Summer!
