Capricornus
The constellation Capricornus is a goat. Many years ago, people thought this constellation was a gate to the Heavens. Souls would go through it after a person died.
The Greeks thought it was a sea-goat. In one story, a monster was chasing the gods. They each turned into an animal and ran away, except for Pan. He couldn't decide to what to turn into. He jumped into a river to change, but the water was too shallow. His lower half turned into a fish, but his upper half stayed a goat.
It is easiest to see Capricornus in September. It is below Aquarius and next to Aquila.
